Intermountain Healthcare is a not-for-profit health system based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Intermountain is the largest healthcare provider in the Intermountain West, with 37,000 employees serving the healthcare needs of people in Utah, southeastern Idaho, and surrounding areas. Their mission is helping people live the healthiest lives possible, and that mission is supported by a clear vision and strong values that guide us.
In this position I interfaced with system-wide teams to develop and promote system-wide design standards for Intermountain education materials. Oversaw the Intermountain Healthcare Style guide and updated brand assets and colors for the first time since 2006. Designed and produced patient and provider education materials, including conceptual design, aesthetics, visual design and layout of the project in various media (publications, brochures, covers, posters, booklets, illustration, logos, and electronic media).

BRAND CLEAN-UP
The Intermountain style guide hadn’t been updated since 2006. Chelsea was tasked with cleaning, simplifying, and updating the Intermountain Style Guide. This is the guide that must be followed by everyone across the system to ensure brand consistency.
ONE INTERMOUNTAIN LOGO
Intermountain President and CEO Marc Harrison, MD began 'One Intermountain' initiative to align Intermountain Healthcare. ‘One Intermountain’ defines a way of being, doing work.
